About Bruce Tyler
Bruce Tyler, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over four decades of experience in all areas of Human Resources services. His goal is to ease the pain that business owners deal with while trying to keep up with the many aspects of Human Resources.
Bruce started Home Run Human Resources, Inc. in 2004, and since then, he has helped countless small businesses with their Human Resources needs. Electricians, dentists, computer repair shops, insurance agencies, the list goes on and on, and all of these companies now have state and federal compliant policies in place to keep their workplaces fun and safe. Every business needs Human Resources advice, and with changing laws, it’s hard to keep up.
He is an active member in his community, including Elk River Rotary Club (Past President and Taste of Elk River Coordinator), Elk River Chamber of Commerce (Ambassadors Committee), Beyond the Yellow Ribbon (Treasurer), and North Star SHRM (Program Director, Past President).
Bruce was previously involved with Three Rivers Community Foundation (President), Elk River United Way (President), I-94 Chamber of Commerce, Big Lake Chamber of Commerce, Monticello Chamber of Commerce, Two Rivers Referrals, Minnesota SHRM State Council, Kelly Farm Steering Committee, and Sherburne County Historical Society (President). He was also a youth baseball coach for many years and has been president of multiple community theaters.
As an active member in his community, Bruce wants to see small businesses succeed, and unnecessary lawsuits are counterintuitive to this. With his help your business will be protected from litigation that could have been avoided with written policies and proper forms. Contact him today with any Human Resources concerns you have.
